Each person participating in a notarial act must have a valid identity document (ID card or passport, and for foreigners also a residence card).

How to activate a restricted PESEL number

• Please log in to your account in the mObywatel system or on the gov.pl website using a trusted profile.
• Please go to the PESEL number management section and select the option to unblock/withdraw the restriction.
• Please follow the instructions to confirm the unblocking of your PESEL number.

Checklist before your visit

• Valid identity document (ID card or passport, and for foreigners also a residence card)
• All documents required for your specific notarial act
• Unblocked/unrestricted PESEL number
